1. How long does it take?
It varies on many different factors but on average our Basic Detail will take 1 ½ to 2 hours,
our Full takes 2 ½ to 3 ½ and our Extreme anywhere from 4 to 6 hours
2. Do you offer a multiple car discount?
Unfortunately we keep our prices as low as todays times will allow so we are unable to
provide a multiple car discount.
3. Do you bring your own water?
Yes we come fully equipped with plenty of water to accomplish any size job.
4. Do you bring your own electric?
Yes we carry a generator large enough to power all of our equipment.
5. How do you except payment?
Cash is our preferred method but we also accept checks and.
all major credit and debit cards
6. Do you ever get cancellations?
Yes we do get cancellations, so if you book an appointment for 3 months down the road we
will most likely get you in much sooner.
7. Where are you located?
We are a 100% mobile business we do not have a location.
8. Do you come to me?
Yes we drive our fully equipped van to your location where ever that may be.
9. What kind of wax do you use?
For our wax we use a pure natural carnauba wax from Auto Magic but we recommend up
grading to a paint sealant or a ceramic coating.
10. What is paint sealant?
Paint sealant is a fully synthetic man made wax that cures to the paints surface for a stronger bond then wax to protect against environmental elements like UV rays, excessive heat, acid rain…
11. What is Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic coating is the newest strongest paint protection out there. It basically forms a super hard layer over your vehicles clear coat that is chemical resistant and last a long time when properly maintained. Ceramic coatings protect against things like tree sap, bird droppings, bug guts, UV rays, acid rain, excessive heat and more it also makes your vehicles paint easier to maintain.
12. What is Clay bar treatment?
Clay bar treatment is when you use an engineered elastic clay compound to remove brake dust, metal dust, industrial fallout, paint overspray and road grit from your vehicles surface that washing alone will not remove. This action in-turn gives the vehicle a super smooth paint surface for a sealant or coating to bond to.
13. What is Iron remover?
Iron remover is a chemical that removes embedded iron particles that stick to your paint that washing does not remove. Iron deposits are caused from brake dust, rail dust and industrial fallout.
14. How long have you been detailing?
I Jay been detailing on and off for 17 years, Nikki has been detailing for about 8 years.
15. What is paint enhancement?
Paint enhancement is when a cleaner polish is used to clean the paint and fill in and or remove 10% or more of defects in your paint and to increase the shine, gloss and depth of your paint in preparation for our ceramic spray coating.
16. What is One Step paint correction?
One step paint correction is the process of using a light cut polishing compound to remove about 50% to 95% of paint imperfections and to bring out a high gloss shine.
17. What is 2 Step paint correction?
2 step paint correction is the use of a heavy cut compound and coarse polishing pad to remove 75% to 95% of paint defects followed by a light cut polish to bring out a high gloss shine.
18. Do you hand wax?
Yes we do and No we don’t, we apply the wax with a dual action random orbital machine that mimics the action of the human hand but free spins at the same time and we remove the wax by hand with microfiber rags.
19. Can you remove scratches?
Yes we can remove scratches to some degree, if your finger nail catches on the scratch then all we can do is round over the sharp edges of the scratch to make it less noticeable. If your finger nail does not catch the yes we can remove it.
20. Do you detail boats?
Sorry No we do not.
21. Do you detail motorcycles?
Sorry No we do not
22. Do you detail RV’s?
Yes we sure do but only the exterior.
23. Are you licensed and Insured?
Yes we are both licensed and Insured
24. Do you do dealership work?
No unfortunately we do not do any dealership work
25. How much do you charge?
Are prices are based on size and condition, we have 3 different interior and exterior packages to choose from and our prices vary from $50 all the way up to $460 depending on how in- depth of a detail you are looking to have done.
26. What kind of buffer do you use?
We use multiple different buffers depending on the situation; we have a 6" short throw 8mm dual action, a 6" medium throw 15mm D,A, a 6" long throw 20mm dual action, a 3" short throw 8mm D.A. and a 6" rotary polisher.
27. What is pure carnauba wax?
Pure carnauba wax is a natural product that comes from the leaves of the Brazilian palm tree. It can fill in / cover up light paint imperfections but will not remove them. The protection from Carnauba wax last anywhere from 1 to 3 months.
28. What is Spray Ceramic coating?
Ceramic spray coating is a weaker version then the original glass bottle 3/5/8 plus year coatings. Spray ceramic light coatings last up to 12 months
29. What is Graphene coating?
Graphene Coating is the same as the original SIO2 based Ceramic coating but formulated using a ultra-refined blend of Graphene oxide resins to reduce the chance of hard water spots, increase the durability, hydrophobic properties and slickness. Also Graphene adds more abrasion resistance then the original SIO2 coating.
30. How can you apply Ceramic Coating as a Mobile Detailer without a shop?
When applying our Graphene Ceramic Coating we always set up our own shelter from the sun and heat to complete the job successfully, You do not need a shop to apply coatings, that is no longer the case with these New Graphene infused ceramic coatings on the market. We do check that the purchaser of the 5 year coating has shelter to keep the vehicle dry for the first couple hours after application.
31. How many hours does it take you to ceramic coat a vehicle?
Well To be honest the application of our ceramic coating only takes us about 45min, but all the prep work takes us upwards to 7 hours at times... but of average 5 to 6 hours. That's assuming all the vehicle needs is our one step paint correction, if more paint correction is needed then a ceramic coatings prep could take 1.5 to 2 days.
